Not being hard nosed at all, know from experience of passing out a gazillion trans rebuild kits and et cetera for this terd of an A/T.

In stop and go freeway traffic (you live here, so you know what I'm speaking of!), the constant shifting up/down, in/out of OD fried the little charmers guts...and it didn't take too long for this to occur.

ha,ha, Fistable, I'm very sorry about the misspelling of Number Dummy, Mr Senor Dummy.

O.k.

it seems like every one has his own opinion on this AOD Trans, and thats very valid here, in China, Mexico and all of those little central and south american Mexican countries.

Now for some reason I do personally bealive that the AOD can be a good prospective for my truck, I normally switch geras even that it is a Auto trans,,I don't like the part were you in traffic and the stupid trans is shifthing up and down,,sore of sports automatic shifting, so I don't think that the Overdrive little yiggling parts will fry on me.

And yes I do have a very storng set of tools that I can do take apart the Discovery space Shuttle and put back togetere with al te presicion that's requered,,he,hehe,,(a little show off on these).

I do have strong Mechanical skills, but still dosn't mean that I odn still ask for directions when uncertain things come across my way, Y have rebuilt a few engines including a litttle 1967 VW type III angine from scratch,,if you ever done something like that,,than you will take on any task with regards to Mechanical issues.

I'll go to a whrecker yard,,and have some one pull the whole enchilada for me (engine/Trans together so I can use as much from that truck, or full size car.

for all your help thanks and please forgime my english, I'm Mexican (from Real Mexico). thanks again.

salud. keep on drinkin,,even root beer, it's one of my favor driks to go with my tacos, burritos and chimichangas.

AOD: Stay out of O/D in heavy stop y go traffico, y install the largest trans cooler you can find.

Heat is the mortal enemy of the AOD. Having the trans cooler in the radiator of the vehicles it was installed in is/was a detriment.

Wrecking yard AOD. If the vehicle it comes from isn't wrecked, you can bet your bottom peso why the vehicle is there. The AOD c**a the bed!

I hope I dont trow the whole posting issue out/off the postings regulations here, that's not my intention,,it is just that words writed without seen peoples faces,,wont whos any emotions,,for the rest of averythiing I think that by adding a little humor but sticking on the subject,,it's a fun thing to do, I do love you all.

Cervezas for every one,,

Orale urquidezp, I'll keep every one posted,,and at the same time,,pissed,,ha,haah seems like every one is entittle to they hown experiences and opinion, and I take avery ones opinio very seriusly,,,except for when I'm high,,or Borracho/wasted

One thing I must make Clear,,Great Respect for Senor Mr NumberDummy ( I have to keep copy and pasting your name so I don't make the same mistake, I know how serus nick names are).

It is sunday, and I have no money or willing to get into the garage and wrestle that 1966 Ford F100 Beast!! so I keep writing,,this is a better site than Face book for sure.

Your doing a good job militos. Humor is good for the sole. Just keep it in english so no one gets offended. The way you speak is the way you type. No problemas aqui.
Welcome to the site.
How are the junk yards by you? Do they have a supply of trucks?

it's better to be a freshman than a staleman.... As for the "Sir" part, I think you have to be British. "Master" is usually given to young boys who aren't old enough for "Mr." "Master" could also be used if you own people, I guess....
