what do yall think about putting bed liner on the front and back bumpers?this seems to be a fad on newer trucks. has anyone ever done it on one of our trucks?

 

Yep, did it to the factory rear bumper on my 73 F100 looks good I think.

 

I put some rollon type, from a gallon container, on the top parts of my rear painted bumper. It gives great traction and 9 years later is still working great.

 

I've seen it done plenty, it works. To me it's all about why you're doing it. I've never really understood the whole thing about off roaders like bed lining their whole Jeeps. If you're going to have a completely bed lined truck, then what are you trying to protect with that liner?

Back bumper is a cool Idea, mine's rusty, I love the chrome up front though.

 

reason im asking is because i found a bumper and push bar in the junk yard. they were chrome, but now they are rusty.

 

Go for it, nothing to lose at this point!
