Your 226 block?
Morning. Please tell me about this monster. By "block", might you mean just this? You only have a block, nothing like a complete engine?
Thanks for any information, Douglas

Sent a pm,
I am building a 53 F250, long bed, 8lug, 300 I6, C6
I've had to cut budget so instead of $400 for intake and carb, i'm hoping for under $200, does the intake include a carb?
For the rear end, i would like to get a gear ratio of the mid 3's to retain optimal gas mileage. What is the width on the dana 44? and the gearing on the two speed?
Thanks

I just replaced my ring, pinion, yoke & carrier case - all which were in very good condition - and I would like you to consider using these if they work for you. $150 plus shipping takes it all (includes bearings).
For what it's worth, they are the original 3.92 off of my '56 F100 Dana 44.
Give me your thoughts.

I just picked up an all original 49 F1. Do happen to have the seat tracks that are used to mount the bench seat to the floor of the cab? Mine are there but the mounting holes are broken as is the track and adjustment handle.
Thanks

I'll get some good detailed pictures for you tomorrow after I get off work. Right now the only picture I have is of it installed in the truck. Send me a note, with your zip, to jcalexb@bellsouth.net and then I can respond with the pictures to your email. As for shipping, I won't be able to find out a price until Monday which is when I can get it to UPS for weighing. I'll also need your zip code for an accurate quote on the shipping. I can also check with Greyhound as they seem to be the cheapest.
