Sidesteps, running boards for Mom?

It seems that I drive my disabled Mom quite a bit to appointments and such. Getting in and out of the truck is a bit of a struggle for her (and me sometimes). I do the best to help her but it always seems to be just not right. What works best for you? Steps? Running boards? Anyone else have a similar situation?

Is there grab handles which would install on the interior and exterior as well?

Thanks

My wife read me the riot act so I got running boards and a grab handle for her. If the wife is happy, I'm happy.

Cool, What boards and what handle? Is the handle one of the exterior ones I see from time to time? Thanks

I've got running boards and exterior grab handles and they really help when my parents are getting in and out of the truck. I don't know where they came from as they were on the truck when I bought it. I'll post pics when I get home

Thanks Tshrager,

I remember seeing some back in 96' - 97' when there seemed to be a lot of Fords where I lived. Out here there are more trucks of the other brands.

Pics would be great, ty

A friend just gave me mine, I don't know the brand. They are black and I'll try to get a picture later. The grab handle I got from a F150, nothing special but works.

Here is a shot of the grab bars

Here are the running boards

There are a couple more full truck pics in my gallery if you want to check them out. None of the pics are the greatest quality, but its a lot easier to take them on my phone and e mail myself. Hope this helps

I gotta know, where to find the running boards (although I may opt for those aluminum steps I've seen), handles and the tow mirror setup,,

I'd love to have those tow mirrors - need more vision and sometimes tow as well.

Thanks for the pic

Those handles look slick, do you know how they mount? Through bolted or?

Thanks

Some guys don't like the toe mirrors, but I love them. Driving a car or small SUV I now feel blind because of the small mirrors. The grab bars are screwed in using a large corse thread screw. Like I said, I have no idea where to get them though
