For Android phones try an easy little free app called Headset Blocker. I put the widget on one of my screens and turned it on. No more auto music starts =)
My Droid still works with all the Bluetooth devices and can still stream music to my computer, headphones, etc...but with the app on it doesn't autostart music anymore.
Can't say how or why it works, but read about it on another forum and it works for me.
On mine it does not batter which setting the radio is on, the iPod is playing in the background of my phone. Now I did jailbreak my iPhone, maybe that has something to do with it.
Ok, so I have the opposite issue, and I'm hoping someone's figured this out. Everytime I get in my truck, I have to say "Bluetooth audio" then pick a song to play. This is extremely aggravating since when I first bought it, it auto-played the last bluetooth audio song from when I left the truck. I am not sure what's happened, but this is really aggravating. All I listen to is Bluetooth Audio, so I have to say it out loud every time I get in the truck to activate it.
Every time I climb in and start my 2011 F-150 up, the radio says LINE IN. I have NEVER used Line In, but it always defaults to that. Do you know why this is happening or how I can get it back to auto-playing bluetooth audio?
Are u shutting down the music app on ur phone? Mine used to do the same thing but now it always picks up where the last song left off unless I shut down the music app on my phone.

No, I never play with the music app, never exit or shut it down. I leave it as is while I'm in the truck and when I leave it. Any other ideas?
I recently got a new Samsung Note 5 and it will connect to the sync for calls. But it will not play my music thru Bluetooth audio. I used to have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and it worked just fine. Does any one else have this problem?
