Got the alternator back in and now shes charging 14.4 !!

checked the batteries

- passenger side = 14.4
- driver side = 14.2

She said that (2) diodes were shot

upgraded the bearings - rectifier

replaced everything else with new.

$110

going to order a smaller pulley to boost the output a little bit more at idle.

IAT2 is the Intake Air Temperture 2 sensor. It's in the intake on drivers side kind of close to where the fuel bowl is.

this is one of the reasons I went with an EGR deleate

The manafold itself is full of that junk

The IAT2 sensor may respond alittle quicker being cleaned

Take it to ford, and let them check it, it's 60-86 dollars for a full check up!

I think it's the injectors

code again today:

had it checked ....

Dang EGR excessive pressure (AGAIN)

Now I am wondering if I purchased a defective EGR valve (or) the IAT2 sensor is bad eventhough I cleaned the gunk out of it.

gonna pull the IAT2 sensor back out tomorrow and see if some more gunk got in it.

I have a hankering to throw the old (cleaned) EGR valve back in it to see if it makes any difference also.

what is the exact code its throwing

is it still the P0402

P0402 C* Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Excessive Detected EGR Valve Position does not match desired, limits based on
engine speed / load.
EGR Valve stuck or sticking - EGR Valve Position Sensor Bias - EP
Sensor bias

have you tried to clean the EBP sensor and tube yet

Didn't get the exact code (Running late for work) but I did read where it said something like

Excessive High Pressure

note:

A collection of things I have replaced so you guys don't have read the whole thread.

- new EGR (Delphi Unit)
- new EBP sensor / cleaned the tube and the hole where the tube
attaches
- new ICP sensor
- removed and cleaned the turbo
- new fuel filters
- new oil filter
- removed and cleaned IAT2 sensor

Got home from work thin morning:

removed the Delphi EGR valve and re=installed the old (Cleaned) factory EGR valve.

I also tested the valve movement before I installed the original EGR valve.

Lets see what happens now......
