Found a 1953 F100 from driving around today
So today is my Birthday.. Since I had the day off I got up this morring and took off on a drive... Driving around the country roads I seen this old truck and stoped and talk to the guy..Ask if it was for sale.. He said yeah I'd like to get it out of my yard and make more for my other old fords... The in the truck is a 1963 ?? thunderbird (I know its a thunderbird unsure of the year) The truck doesnt run..But is in 70% shape I think.. I asked the guy how much $2,500 (damn only if I had that )
Anyways Here are some photos of the truck.....
Best,
Cody

i paid 2700 for mine , a 53 with a running flatty . looking at the photos and considering she looks pretty dain solid , i'd say hell yeah it's worth it . we in the rust belt don't get too many nice ones to play with . my 53 and my 52 customline are exceptions and in sweet shape but ........... as i said exceptions . by the way i'd kill and maim for those slot mags !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd ask him if he has priced the cost of certain parts like "fill in the blank". Example: springs, rearend, cab corners, windshield, etc. After you have asked him about five or six things, he'll realize the cost you are going to have to pay to get the truck fixed. Then you can offer him $2000 (which is a little high for CA trucks, but maybe right for northern snowy states) It looks like that sale sign has been there for a long time.
