Tire Suggestions

These continentals have to go... I the problem is that i cant find much out there in the 275/65/18 size, so my question is what is another good size that would not require me to change any of the stock suspension? I am looking at going either Toyo AT or BFG AT...

Discount tire direct has 32 different tires that size, if you go 255x65x18, it's 13 different tires.

I replaced those Conti pieces of crap with Cooper Discoverer ATR, 275/70/18. I am very happy with them so far (about 2k miles on them). They are excellent in the snow, smooth and quiet riding, have a 50k tread guarantee, and they are American made.

I think my truck will arrive with Continentals LT275/65R18 for SRW F-250

Why don't you like the tires?

I believe the Lariat rim width is 8".

For Wisconsin winters those Contis are useless, IMO. They might as well be slicks.

After I got rid of them, I was on a snow covered lake with my Coopers and a buddy in his 2010 F250 with the Contis. He got stuck in 4WD. I pulled him out in 2WD. Thats no bull.

They are probably a good highway tire, but snow or mud......forget about it!

Well said, the Conti's are great quiet tires if all you do is drive dry hwy miles. Any weather and they become a liability in my opinion.

Interesting... 295/75/18 should be 35.4" but Nitto list these as 34.4"... the stock Conti's are list as 33.4", so the 295 are going to a bit taller which throw your speedo off just a bit... but considering my speedo already reads fast it might actually make it read more accurately! LOL

When I asked at the time I orderd my truck if I could specify Michelin's I was told no. I did NOT want Continentials. Of course they came in with Conti's. My dealership swapped the Conti's out for Michelin's without batting an eye....Customer Care at it's best!

LT295/70/18 Nitto Terra grappler AT are on my stock Lariet 18x8 rims. Great tires! I ordered the truck and paid for at tires. It came with MS Continental. The dealer checked and said this is their AT tire. I wasn't happy and peeled them off at 1471 miles. They are for sale!
