Well I enjoy have new cars everyday..

There are several times that I force to sell and buy other one. And some aren't mine but fix for them.

Ok everything FORGET about issues now I have newer issues.

It finally run for short then stop.

TONS TONS white smoke out exhaust while crank. It suck batteries so fast that we hook to Ford E350 to charge battery by jumper.

We didn't plug heater block but We plan try again on Sunday when we get back from Deer camp. It supposed to be warmer on Sunday.

glove box have clear water I am think it from window seal leak.

White smoke sounds like glow plugs aren't working correctly or coolant getting into the cylinders but it should still stay running.

First thing's first if you are draining off the batteries that fast you either have a starter issue or bad batteries.

I would take the batteries down and have them tested. If they are bad then replace them with 700CCA not 500CCA's. These trucks take some serious power to start.

I would also follow all of F350-6's advice, he knows his stuff.

It not coolant. It smoke from unburnt fuel. The fastest it crank it unburnt fuel smoke more. Coolant in tank never drop.

I am bet it glow plugs system is trouble.

Rpm tachometer go 200-350 rpm crank. But when batteries lost juice it 100 rpm.

All new parts on that wasn't from me. Dealership put tons new parts and GAVE UP.

Oil in that was new we put 2 quarts it up full. We will change oil after it running.

Subscribing.
After sitting for so long with air in the fuel system and also maybe in the HPOP system, I wouldn't be alarmed about the amount of smoke coming out the tailpipe unless it refuses to clear up or keeps coming back on every engine start.
If it won't clear, my first suspicion is injector o-rings.

Charge it back up and plug it in to pre-heat the engine. If it doesn't start then I have to wonder if it's a compression issue. Also pull the oil cap and watch to see if any smoke comes out of the oil cap during cranking.
Just a thought.

FINALLY got running up man it PITA.

But thank to 75oF and batteries were recharge for 3 days now it up run.

It running HORRIBLE it misfire for couple mins then finally it run like normal.

Did drive test. There are few issues.

It blow first blue smoke like1-2 sec then tons black smoke on HARD acceleration at 3K rpm.

Left idle for 20 mins it great so I decided try rev. It stop at 2K rpm and tons blue smoke come out exhaust. Then let idle it run great no smoke when rev there blue smoke.

Do you think it bad turbo?

Engine light stay on while Crank and run. Tried plug with my generic usb scanner it say no codes and no light.

either you're leaking oil past a O ring through one of your injectors into your fuel or you're leaking oil past the turbo into your air intake.

Take the intake vent off the turbo and check the turbo shaft for play side to side and in and out. There should be very little play in and out and pretty much none side to side.

I am look at this one.

PowerStroke diagnosis

Blue or blue/white smoke:
Caused by insufficient fuel or oil consumption. Normal when engine is cold or idling for extended periods.
Excessive smoke could be caused by air in the fuel, contaminated fuel, loose or plugged injectors, worn or leaking injector o-rings, thermostat stuck open, oil consumption, or plugged crankcase depression regulator valve. Also PCM inputs such as MAP or ICP sensors.

I am think it could be crankcase depression regulator valve is clog. It doesn't smoke if you rev 1K nothing if rev higher 1500 it start smoke blue.

a little oil in there is normal because of the evaporation coming out of the crank case into the air intake but it shouldn't be blowing blue smoke.
Black smoke is normal when you stomp it because of the excess unburnt fuel.

try starting the motor and letting it idle and flip the oil cap up side down on the filler kneck and see if you have any blow by. Here is a video to show you what I'm talking about.

This is what it should do. It should not blow the cap off.

I don't think our trucks have a crankcase depression regulator valve, but yea, I would say those diags look about right.

I test and watch video. There little blow out. White smoke but it not enough to blow cap off but vibration make cap moving around.

I know it normal cause one of 00 F350 diesel with 97K miles have exact blow out I had.

Engine light stay on. I am going try find scanner that will work with that.

I'm afraid I don't. You may want to call around town and see if a local mechanic will pull the codes and just give you the codes and not tell you what they mean because we can tell you on here what they mean.

Or you can go here... Troublcodes.net Trouble Codes OBD & OBD2 Trouble Codes and Technical info & Tool Store. By BAT Auto Technical
