help with 350 cab and chassis

Now just to tell you no F350 had a 14,000 GVWR
however in 89 ford did sell a F-superduty (F-450) that had a 14,500. is it perhaps one of those??
to the question: have you taken a cranking compression reading? this thing is EFI right?? does it have a new fuel filter?? that would be the first thing i do.

Ya, 1989 F350 duelly 160 wheel base. Use to be part of a fleet for a fencing company. Stamped 14,000gvw. Even at the ins company when the looked up the vin it came back the same.
Yes, did a tune up, fuel filter, front brakes, cat, o2, muffler the other day when I picked it up then worked it right away. Ran fine until the hill with 1000lbs on it and pulling a bob-cat.
Anyhow, I tested my TPS. It was out of range. When I went to change it, I disscovered my EGR gasket was bad. Changed them today but haven't worked it yet. Seemed to have run smoother around town now. Find out tomorrow.
Thanks,
Tim

how many miles on the engine ? and that is a small engine to be pulling all that weight ! did you check the fuel pressure ? lots of miles , would check the compression and see how much slop the front timing chain has ! also when you say tune up have you replaced the injectors ? if compression is low do a leak down test !
