The start of a long long journey of 0ne_sik truck.
The haul from california to texas.

Now sitting nice and snug in the garage.

Then I was robbed.

Not....
I got it ready for the front suspension swap soon as I get the parts.

I have some "" for the people who have done the CV panther swap.
I noticed some people use a piece of flat stock on top of the frame rail, and some of you haven't, is there a difference in frame thickness between the two. what are the pro's and cons of doing this is what I am looking for.
I have a source for the front suspension just don't have the time to get out there and measure till I purchase it. they also have a rolled Lincoln navigator with dohc 5.4l and 54k miles on it and that is the motor I am sticking in it.

updates soon to fallow

We kinda have the same project going on, except I'm goin a different suspension route. I wasn't too fond of the wheel choices with the CV suspension. I'll try to start getting pics of mine in my gallery. I'm going to run with 97-03 F150 front and a modified 8.8 of some sort in the rear. Glad to know someone is working on the same project, I'll be checking in a lot to see how yours is going.

Wheel pattern is common, but you have to run negative offset wheels with it. I like a little bit of a dish on mine.

The width of the suspension is what limits the choices in the front, in carcrafters build the fronts were very close to the fenders, at least that's what I understood. If it were narrower it would be perfect for me. As far as the metal for the frame rails I believe that was to get the upper a arms back to factory symmetry. Im not not dead set on my front yet, so I will be watching this thread, if I get started online before you I'll get some info on what I'm doing

Crown Vic/Mercury Grand Marquis, Ranger, Bronco II, some 1980/83 F100's and etc: 15" x 4.50"

Some Mustang wheels are 4.25" some are 4.50." What FoMoCo vehicle used a 4.75" bolt circle pattern? None that I'm aware of.
