for guys that still run 16.5'' rims, trail worthy fab is now selling retreaded military oz takeoffs with the goodyear mtr tread pattern on them. at a buck sebenty fibe they aren't that far off from the price of regular takeoffs, and either way it's sweet for people with 16.5's since the oz's are damn near all you can find in that size nowadays. just thought i'd let you guys know just in case anyone is interested.

Guys here is the place that makes those tires Retread Tires - Buy Retread Tires, Cheap Truck Tires, Off Road Tires, and Retreads Online I have bought a lot of tires from them and been happy. Some good tire reviews in the 4 wheel mags on them. The tires are not "re caps" they are remolded tires and much better quality.

 

but buy them from twf unless you wanna spend more. twf has the rights to that specific tire in that specific size, and his site is cheaper.

 

IIRC the 37x12.50R16.5 HMMWV tires were load range Ds, I believe that would be an 8 ply tire. I should know, I changed enough of those damn tires when I was working in the motor pool. (USMC 2002- 2006) The fun part was trying to get those heavy rubber run flats out and back in when you were changing tires... all by hand of course. Nice looking tire though.
