I dressed up the engine in my 52 with an Offy valve cover and an Offy dual carb intake, with glass bowl carbs. I also would have done the same mods back in the day if I was born earlier in the last century. Adding period correct goodies gives an otherwise stock vehicle that extra attention. It sets it apart from a completely stock vehicle and brings even a stronger sense of nostalgia, in my opinion.
