More like 91.
And my excuse was, no really officer it started going faster and faster all by itself there was nothing I could do. That cop had no sense of humour whatsoever.

I definitely agree fuel pressure is first thing to check. Not easy or cheap to safely monitor real time, but it is a very likely culprit.

If OK, I start to wonder about the stock 2000 fuel map resulting in excessively lean ratios and some combustion chamber overheating, leading to preignition and the knock sensor pulling timing out.... Or something along those lines. Dyno tests have shown some odd behavior at WOT.

I would have a conversation with Mike (5 Star).

I was thinking along those lines also. The cat temps could have been very high also. Not having the trailer on the back reduced engine load and must have lowered the temps enough. Maybe the engine even went into limp mode for a short duration. You know as well as I do that year runs stoich almost all the time unless it overheats.

Yes I was on interstate 81, doing 91 downhill, uphill 25.
Do you know the actual GCW of your entire rig? (trailer included) If not it would be a good idea to get it on the scales. I have traveled the same section of I81 dozens of times over the years. The grades are long but they are not that steep. I have enough power to be running over 90mph at the top of the same hills, granted I'm only at 11,500-12,000 lb GCW. Thats with a PI 2V V10 with the 4speed auto in an F-250 pulling a boat so there is not as much wind resistance. I suspect your GCW is higher than you think.

It’s in the return line from the carbon canister (driver’s side approximately 2’ from the gas tank)

To add for extra things being carried in the car and RV, lets just call that 18,000 lbs.

This is mine with about that same weight going from 0-70.
I have 30 less HP due to mine being the very early V10, but you have more wind resistance.

Ok! You re & re your engine and I’ll do mine and it’s an even trade.
From what I have seen of this video there is definitely something wrong with my engine, maybe I’ll take that video with me to the ford dealer and tell them that’s what I want mine to do Lol.

You should have way more than that. My old 4.6 had around 60 stock. After I supercharged it and put in double pumps I had close to 100 or better. I forget exactly but either way yours is way too low.
