I was crossing the highway coming home from the dump, and I usually give the tires a good squeal test on the highway before heading home. Well I proceeded to spin the tires, and wouldnt ya know it but my clutch started slipping pretty bad, doh.

After a slow and careful drive the rest of the way home, I decided that my project shortbox 4x4 is going to be started pretty soon.

Heres a few pics of what I have collected if anyones interested, and I will be starting a build thread when I actually start.

Had this ol truck since high school

Complete shortbox that Im using for the frame.

Another complete low mileaged (but beat up bodied) 4x4 bought for the front and rear axle components

A excellent condition no rust at all shortbox!

I have been wanting to do a 4x4 conversion on my '92. I will definitely keep track of this thread to see your progress.

I bet it's a Regal or Monte Carlo.

That's quite a few Ford's to have laying around. Would love to have that front bar and aluminum wheels off that truck in the second pic, lol. Have fun swapping it all around. It's fun when you don't need it to go to work Monday.

Well you are correct on the scoop! It came off of a mustang, good eye for both of ya! So far I have 3 complete trucks and 3 extra boxes sitting around for parts, so i should be ok for my swap!
