5.0 EFI TO CARB

Okay, theres been alot of info on a EFI conversion to Carb, so i just wanted to get some hard facts. I have a 1988 EFI F150 XLT lariat with a 5.0 302. It is 2wd and it is a 5 speed. Can anyone tell me what i would need to convert this to carb?? i know i need an intake, carb, throttle linkages, but will the heads on this model motor work with a carb intake manifold? what else do i have to do? If anyone could help it would be greatly apreciated. thanks.

This topic comes up a lot so a little more searching would turn up the answers you need plus a lot of good reasons why this is a lot more work than it's worth... the engine won't make any more power. But if it's what you're gonna do anyway then yes the heads will work and you will need an ignition system and matching distributor and also a bypass regulator to drop fuel pressure down and route the excess back to the tank.
