Cool Looking Monkey Face COE Car Hauler

I found this today on the H**B and thought i'd share, i'd never seen the tandem axle fender before, pretty neat. The guy is looking at turning it into an enclosed hauler with a teardrop look to it while still using the original fenders, should be interesting. Also, was that a stock front bumper option on the COE's? It looks really slick and clean.

That was my next question, i figured it must be front wheel drive. Guess you answered the question for me Iwanna. I really like the way the cab has been tastefully stretched without kinda wrecking the overall lines, IF yoy can really say a COE actually has lines to start with? LOL John

I wonder if that cab was stretched or could it maybe have been done way back when or maybe even by Ford. Anyone know? John

this is what the owner said on the coe thread:

"Wow, all these COEs sure gives someone something to shoot for. Here is mine, just got it running, came from Sou. Cal. Don't know a lot about it. Started years ago, and the man passed away, an got it from his widow. 48 Ford, extended 28 in. cab, 500 in. Cad, FWD, lots of good work, needs some TLC.
I was running out of projects anyway.LOL"

I've seen several COE car haulers that had an eldorado or toronado fwd sub frame with a beam rear axle and air bags. Makes a great towing set up, as the picture shows. LOVE the rear fenders.
