Water leak between Booster and firewall

Anyone ever had this happen. Have a small drip in heavy rain from the boot of the booster where the brake rod exits. Did not see a gasket when I replaced the booster. guess i can just spray some RTV around it but was wondering if there was any other place water may get in there..

Someone will respond with a more detailed answer regarding the booster, but how is the seal between the upper fire wall [cowl area] and the hood [when closed]? This is an important weather seal and routes the water to the sides of the hood. This seal gets very hard from years of exposure to engine heat and environmental elements. Many just break off in chunks.

Is your truck a standard?

Maybe the firewall cracked and water is getting in there?
