2011 f150 rear axle

Ordering new F150 and I have a question about the rear axle.
Options with max tow package:
1. 3.73 limted slip
2. 3.73 locking axle
I know the Off-Road comes with other options (skid plates, shock absorbers etc) Will not be doing any off roading but will be on occasion towing 9500-10,000 lb trailer. Is there a need for the off road package or would I be fine with the limited slip?

Thanks

LS rear would be the wisest choice. The locker only works when it's engaged and only to 25 mph. The LS is always ready when it gets slippery.

I agree that the LS will be a good choice.

Before the E-locker was introduced, the 3.73 LS axle was the only available axle for the max tow package. The LS axle is the way to go.

If you're not mudding, get the LS.

I got the E-locker because mines going to see lots of mud later in life.
