Tranny Problem...please this is the 3rd time iv pulled it in a week

Its been a real long time since iv posted, but i read all the time just for some insight and im having a bit of an issue with my beefed up 4r100 tranny. well here it goes. first i cracked the acuall tranny itself by the bellhousing all the way around i got it reshelled for 1700$ also had to get new a few new bearings but thats not the issue im having. my issue is that iv put it back in and everything is hocked up correctly and i have no moving gears zip nada nothin. engine bogs down alittle like it wants to but just wont move. thought the torque converter didnt seat right but everything is ok. fluid is good even tho it was a pain with the mag hytech pan tryin to figure out the right amount. i can hear the pump also engage but when its in and i pull a line i get no fluid. please help i miss my baby.

I could be wrong. but I know there are a couple one directional clutches in there. Maybe Mark will chime in here to help you out.

It's not a one way clutch. If you get no fluid either the trans doesn't have enough fluid in it, or the input shaft is broken, or the pump is broken.

Well I'm defintly sure there's. Enough fluid in it. It kinda came flowing out of the dipstick so I had to drain a little bit. And I'm sure the input shaft isn't broken cuz I had it solid in my hand. Now on to the pump is there any way to test that.

Did you check the fluid level after it's been running for a while? If you overfilled it then ran it the level may be VERY low.

There is a way to test the pump. Pull a line and if no fluid comes out either it is low on fluid or the pump is bad.

Exclamation

Iv done both. Pulled the return line and no fluid was coming out. So I figure it would be the pump. I really hope not . On my way to my tranny guy to find out right now ill let y'all know what the deal is
