Blend Door Actuator Problem Is there a fuse or relay 2006 f350

The air auto climate control would only blow very hot air thru the defrost when it should blow cold air out the front vents. Removed blend door acturator motor behind the glove box and it would not rotate the shaft when out and hooked to power. Ordered a new one, but it too wont turn under power. I am looking for a fuse or relay, or other reason why. I can't believe the new one is bad too. In the manual nothing looks like the blend door actuator fuse or relay. I havent checked the power with a volt meter yet. The vacuum solenoid moves with different commands for the A/C. believe it is an electrical problem.Any help???

Maybe a vacuum leak. Check your lines.

Hvac autuator Heater blend door 2004 f150

Don't get in a rush to judgement like I did I have just went thru 3 days ripping the dash out to find the blend door is good no voltage to the actuator I supplied temporary voltage and it worked.I went to my local Ford and they let me use a wiring schematic,I traced the actuator to fuse no.5 it also supplies power for guess what else was not working?Back up lights.Put in a fuse heater/air works as it should until I put truck in reverse,it blew the fuse again and now the heater/air is not working again.I now know there is a short.

The system is run off of vacuum. When there is insufficient vacuum to run the climate control system, the system reverts to blowing air through the defroster vents.

Find your vacuum leak. Do you have ESOF 4 wheel drive?

No. That particular user had a half ton which has a completely different wiring setup.

The BDA does not have its own fuse, it gets its power from the EATC.

are you saying the blend door actuator harness gets its power from the climate control head unit itself

The previous statement stands on its own and is relevant to the specific vehicle and option under discussion (05 Excursion with EATC).

long shot, but my 06 f250 is doing the exact same thing? You ever get it figured out? I saw where the power comes from the climate control unit, although I’m not positive if that’s the case. But I’ve got one on the way. I believe it is faulty either way because it won’t display, or will hang up
