240 Valve Cover Mystery

So I decide im going to replace my valve cover gasket off of my 66 F100 with a 240. As I take the cover off I noticed their was a piece of tin with a brittle half broken piece of hardnened rubber inside of the valve cover that fits perfectly on a piece of tin that is inside the valve cover. Looking at it I believe it is made to make a firm seperator between the 1/4 valves nearest the PCV Valve... I assume so they would have proper lubercation. No parts man seems to know what the part would be called or have any idea on how I can get the part. HELP!!!

Again its a rubber piece thats on a piece of tin that is IN the Valve cover itself when you take it off... It firmly snaps over the piece of tin making a nice tight fit
