A Unibody (Integral) sub-forum in Western Region

Good morning all, some of you are the proud owners of the 1961- 1963 Ford Unibody trucks. I my self own a 62 long bed. The moderator of the 61-66 trucks Fabmandelux is also the moderator of the Oregon chapter. He has decided to allow us to place sub-forums in the northwest section. Here is the hitch, I need at least 5 people to say they want it to start it. Those of you that are out of the Northwest area and have Uni's are more than welcome to participate. So let me know what you think, do you desire a section where just Uni talk can occur. How about a national registry of Uni's where you can see how many are really out there. Reply back, I'm sure Don will see it, he has a uni as well.

Rob

Hey Don this was moved off of the 61-66 forum by Tim, I would liken this to being exiled, that's why you don't see more people replying.

I need to clear up a couple of misunderstandings

Tim didn't move it Rob, I did. And you're not being "exiled" - quite the opposite. The entire purpose of this forum is for the clubs, as explained in the "read first" sticky at the top of the page: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ion-forum.html

As you can see from the link the focus of these clubs is to be local in nature with an emphasis on meets and get-togethers, rather than a discussion forum for all FTE members, or a model specific tech forum.

I think this line from the Read First forum sticky explains it

The emphasis of these clubs is to unite local enthusiast's for social GTG's, trail rides or events.
Local meaning easy driving distance either from each other or to a common destination.

So this section "Here are the guidelines (Note - Since this is new ground for all of us, these guidelines may be amended/revised as necessary to better suit the needs of all concerned):"

means nothing?

Not sure I understand your question Robert. Please explain in more detail.

BTW, I changed the title to Western Region from Northwest to save future confusion.

Alaska is in the WESTERN Region of the US. So the answer is no to Northwest and yes to WESTERN region.

The answer is NO. You are in the Canadian National Chapter region.

This all started because I wanted a sub forum to the 61-66 forum. I wanted a place where the Unibody guys could go for information and talk. It was moved to the western region, because the club thing came up. I would still like to have it in the main 61-66forum, that way it's membership open to all states and nations. Call it a club if you must but it excludes people who are interested in joining from out of the western region. Many people think that Unibodies are rare, and maybe they are if you look at the amount of 64-66 trucks that post. Please reconcider my previous request.
