i picked up a 96 f250 ex.cab short bed awesome i know its got a 460 auto and a god forsaken ttb dana50......i plan on a 60 swap, i know a guy that has two.thing only needs a lil body work really but i love playing in the woods and id like to get sum cheap lift ideas options for the front end gonna do 4'' springs in the rear. i'd like to know is there a shackle option too to give me sum flex?

 

if you want max flex for cheap then keep your "god forsaken ttb dana50". short of replacin all the springs for softer ones (or spendin copious amounts on coilovers) the rest of the flex will come from your rubber frame and time. as for the body work, why do it if youre gonna be trail ridin in the woods? shes gonna get lightning graphics anyway from tree branches, and crumples if you are serious bout 4wheelin it.

 

Welcome to the forum. Im a neighbor to you too, besides that... Like 89 said only fix rust if you going to wheel it with any meaning. Its a full size and they dont like the woods ..

 

yea but i dont want a rot box i do drive it and not gonna wheel it til i swap the front end i already hate the hell out it just need cab corners and rear arches really. besides i love to play in the woods but i dont wheel like jeepers do bouncin off every rock n tree
