Shop Press for Working on my 78 F150

Hi all. I am in the process of rebuilding my 78 Dent and am in the need of a press. The use will be pressing bearings on and off as well as removing the wrist pin on my pistons. The three that I am looking at are:

10 Ton Bench-Mount Manual H-frame Press | Fastenal
$400

Hydraulic Shop Press HSP-10H
$400

and
Torin Big Red Hydraulic Shop Press with Gauge Dial — 10-Ton, Model# T51003 | Hydraulic Presses | Northern Tool + Equipment
$250

I like the extra work space offered by the first two, but they are a lot more expensive. Has anyone used any of these or have any opinions on these or other hydraulic presses?

Thanks,
Chad

Yikes those are expensive. What about harbor freight?

12 Ton Shop Press

20 Ton Shop Press

Not as nice looking but if you aren't using it everyday might be an option.

The reason I chose those ones is because of the design. The cheaper 10-20 ton models use a siding rail with a tube welded on it. This is not very stable because the rail wobbles between the posts.

I have one like this:

Torin Hydraulic Shop Press – 12-Ton, Model# T51201 | Hydraulic Presses | Northern Tool + Equipment

The wobble isnt bad and doesnt really affect performance.

You heat the rods and freeze the pins, they go on with little effort.

I vote Harbor freight for regular bearings and seals.
