Need Advise: Belt, Tensioner ETC.
Ah, its time I spend a few bucks on maintenance items.
The belt tensioner on the truck has shifted out of true & started to eat the belt. I'll be getting a Goodyear Gator Back belt & I need a new tensioner.
What brand tensioner do you guys like & where is a good place to buy?
Also I need to get a new lift pump for fuel plus I'm gonna get a new fuel bowl & hoses. What brands & where to buy'em?
We will be moving north ward soon & a friend says to disconnect or disable the ABS system before we get into snow & ice, anyone else do this?
Need rear dually tires too, any thoughts? I'm torn between spending cash on good tires or because they are duallies just getting some no names.
I'll probably do rear brakes while I have the wheels off too, any thoughts?
Thanks Guys!!!

Got my belt tensioner here Amazon.com: Gates 38119 Belt Tensioner Assembly: Automotive
It's the 'upgraded' unit, so the arm is longer, but it works. you don't use the re-use the factory washer on it, as the bolt head recesses into the unit for belt clearance. (learning from my mistakes). Good call on gatorback, that's what I run too.
Autoparts store such as autozone or whatever should have pump. IIRC there all carter pumps, regardless of the packaging. Clay @ riffraff has the hoses (and the pump if you're looking to source online), or you can make some up out of from Goodyear EP SAE 30R9, also available at autoparts store like napa
Never disabled my abs, but the module is behind the glovebox IIRC...
Hope this helps some, I'm sure others will chip in more answers

When I did my DRW conversion on the E350 I went with NTB house brand tires. NEVER AGAIN! They WOULD NOT balance. Thank goodness a few years wore them out and I had to replace them. I went with the Goodrich Commercial T/A and the difference is night and day. Not that I'd recommend that tire for you. Up in that stuff you'll need a different tread. These are a "don't even look at anything not paved" pattern. E-350 15 passenger vans are not fun to get unstuck. My point being that a good quality tire was worth the extra cash in my case.
Not much to add on the belt tensioner.
