what the local dealer told me was a roller from a lifter came loose and grenaded my oil pump sending parts and pcs (needle bearing) throughout the motor, they said they would not like to put another pump in it as they could not be sure where all the parts went. this 2004 has 290000. on it and ran fine, I went to the bank, and came out starteded the truck it ran for 30 sec and shut off, had it towed to the dealer.
