BD Dual Vane Exhaust Brake for 2013 6.7L
I have a 2013 F-350 with the 6.7L. I pull a 36' 5th wheel with a Swivel Wheel motorcycle on the back. So I'm pretty heavy. Plenty of pulling power, but going down hill, the automatic braking doesn't work anywhere near as well as the exhaust brake I had on my '96 F-250 with the 7.2L. Considering installing the BD Dual Vane Exhaust Brake. Looking for feedback from folks that have installed the BD DVEB. Would you recommend it? How well does it work?

It does not work so well with the programming. I know of one person who tried it took it off.
The turbo in the 2011-2014 models does not have enough backpressure so the factory engine braking is not as strong.
Instead when getting ready for a long or steep downhill, shift to manual mode and change to the gear you need for the decent. It will work just fine there.
How heavy are you? I gross anywhere from 24-26K and it works well for me.
