That's no fun Joe... I don't know where we rank, and I don't think I want to know. I wince everytime I drive past the gas station, since it seems to be 5 cents higher each time.

5 cents would be a welcome sight in our town...

It is amazing it jumps 10, 20 and even 30 cents at a time and ALL the stations jump at the SAME time...there is NO competition in Fort Wayne...there are like 3 main fuel station owners and I think they have breakfast to discuss what the price of fuel will be that day. And what pisses me off...Sam's club and Walmart play right along...

Another thing that pisses me off is the barrel price is FALLING yet our gallon price is RISING???...what's up with that?

My local station raises the price 5 or 6 cents every Thursday night, then they drop it back on Saturday or Sunday... They take advantage of folks who get paid weekly and live paycheck to paycheck. It's a racket for sure.

Our stations "used to" raise on Thursdays and drop on Monday's...but now they just raise it any time they want and if it does drop...it drops 1 to 2 pennies at a time yet it jumps 10's of cents at a time...something has to be done.

It is sad when the government can regulate the price of a gallon of milk but do nothing about the price of gasoline?

The barrel price for oil could drop $50 over a couple days, but it will take months for the price at the pump to come down. Those poor oil companies have to keep the cash rolling in to pay for the lobbyists.

That means you could sell that tank of gas for a profit, right?
