Good evening WV! Finally had a day without rain here. I was able to get the garden tilled this evening, hopefully get everything in the ground tomorrow evening.
Kevin -- Hope you get that sorted out with your neighbor. Nothing like feuding neighbors
Tammie -- Sorry to hear about your losses. Hopefully better times are on the way.

I also bought two yellow roses and two president hibiscus.
I also finally finished the birdhouse. Now I just have to figure out where to put it.

I beat ya! LOL. I've got 10 total tomato plants. Four better boy's, four beefsteaks and one each of yellow and red cherries. Two bell peppers, four cucumbers a box and a half (garden box) of onions.
I also bought two yellow roses and two president hibiscus.
I also finally finished the birdhouse. Now I just have to figure out where to put it.

Our garden usually has about 4 rows of beans, two rows of peas, one row each of cukes, squash, and onions. This year I bought 14 tomato plants. I usually put a cherry tomato plant and a cucumber plant in a couple topsy turvy's. They work really good for cucumbers.
But, it rained today so I'll have to till it up again before planting

Thanks! I wish i had more room though and had started a lot earlier. Most of my yard doesn't drain well to begin with and I end up with a lot of standing water. Now my new neighbor compounded the problem by running all of his water onto me :C
His answer seems to be, "can't stop the rain"
By next spring I'll have an additional quarter of an acre on higher ground to work with though so I have big plans there. My main thing this year was tomatoes since I love them on anything and everything, and by themselves but they are almost $1 each at the store and aren't very good to begin with. And I grill onions with everything so I wanted plenty of those too.
Now if I could just grow some beef.....

On this Memorial Day weekend, lets' think about the brave men and women, who gave their lives so you could have your freedom.
Think about the families, who gave a son or daughter to that cause and think of all the people who are now free because of the sacrifices that American soldiers have made throughout history, many of them giving their lives for it.
Let's Celebrate Memorial Day for what it stands for and not as a 3 day holiday weekend. - "Garret Watson"
