I have lived about a 1/4 mile from this truck for 10 years. Keep looking at it but it's in bad shape. Never asked if it was for sale to much work for me.

to much work? the rim and tire are laying right there and there looks to be enough stuff in the bed to get that baby back to life in no time at all. did it run when it was parked? i bet it did!

Would you be willing to check on parts for me? I have a '57 and would like to know if there is cancer in the front fenders and cab from what you can tell? Also is what shape is the chrome around the headlights.

I appreciate the help if you can? It might be worth a day trip.

That looks pretty clean! and with a title, no less. I'd almost as soon buy a truck like that without an engine, so you don't have to pay for a cracked one that "ran when parked".

kjdungan, I looked at the truck today. The grill is chrome and is dented and dinged. The left headlight ring is dented. Both front fenders have bondo about halfway up the fender near the door. No rust holes that I can see only surface rust. The cab is a custom cab with surface rust inside on the floors. To much junk to move to really check but I didn't see any holes. The cab roof is dented and was fixed with bondo which is cracking and lifting. As you can see by the pictures there is surface rust everywhere. He has the title and said the motor is new but his son put water in the block instead of antifreeze and it pushed out the freeze plugs so he parked it. Who knows what else it did. I think it's been there about 20 years. There is a 64-65 T-Bird in front of the truck and they both have to be gone by May 11th. He sold the house. He said make him any offer on the truck.

Thank you. I was hoping there was no bondo. Sounds like this truck needs as much tlc as what I already have. My '57 needs the clips for the front fenders and the cab rear corners. I was hoping it would be worth the drive, but it doesn't sound like it. Greatly appreciate your checking for me. Keli

I think I have seen nicer ones parked and abandoned out on Nevada mine roads. That truck would make interesting yard art. I wonder if the cab is salvageable, I will need a cab to chop for my crew cab build. I just don't have a space for it right now.
