Finished CAI....Now have a funky gas pedal feel....

After installing this today, now my gas pedal has a really funky feel to it......Like its a smidge firmer....Any clues?

And oh joy...Now I have the WHHHOOOOSH effect when I floor it....

That, and possibly having the cable in a bind are the only things I can think of for this.
Unless it's just an imagined thing.....

i think it has to be in the linkage.. i have done quite a few of these and never noticed anything in the pedal..maybe spray the linkage with something to free it up a little

Nothing is rubbing....And why would it seem so different? Nothing else was touched...

maybe this is a long shot and i could be way off base here but because of the added length of the intake could it actually be making it work harder to get air into the engine? therefore giving the feeling that the gas peddle is heavier/has resistance...

That sounds logical.....I also thought that it may be because of the more straight passage of air, that it was actually pushing more air against the intake blades.....Idk though....

Half way....Cat back, with a Dynomax Muffler, and 2-1/4" exhaust pipe, to the passenger side rear wheel,. and 45* bend out to the outside...With a Gibson tip.......

Gonna redo it later, with 2-1/2" true duals....And the set of Gibson tips...Don't have a idea of muffler type/brand....May just use the Silver Bullet glasspacks, that I already have....
