IM looking myself, i am currently working for halliburton here in grand junction but am sick and tired of the bureaucratic bullsh** that you have to jump through just to get what you have coming and have earned. so im looking for some other placement in the area. i cant remember if i asked you before but do you have cdl? and do you mind working out of state? not sure if you have a wife and kids and all, but if you have a CDL and are willing to work in North Dakota you can go up there and make $29 an hour to start zand all you gotta do is drive a water truck. i aint going cause i have been there and im not that hard up for money. (its a personal thing with north dakota, i just dont like being there at all and my wife hates me being gone, told me she would be gone when i got back if i went back up there) but hey it is an option. from my understanding the qualifications are just showing up for the job.

by the way, if your looking for work out in that area and can work a 2 on 1 off thing you can look into any oilfield jobs out there, you can make bank but you gotta work yer a$$ off for it. you will be out in the weather at all times of the day and wont stop just cause of a little flood or a blizzard but they pay you well for it. just a thought
Hey thanks, I'm on my way to Wisconsin right now. I am interested in an oil field job. I don't have a CDL.
I finally did get a call back from a real human finally on a job in a body shop. I haven't done much of that in 20 years other than my own stuff, and the 4 years of school I took for paint and body is so old it has completely changed. So well see how that goes if they even hire me.

As for the job market, there are a lot of jobs out here. I've found a lot of non-mechanic jobs which is what I'm looking for. I don't want or need to be working with cut throats and back stabbers and hackers so ill stay away from dealers.

It's pretty warm here today, not a cloud in sight.

I bought some stuff for the workshop, have to make room for it. It looks like the garage threw up all over the driveway and back yard.

Hey Mike, I saw your post on RMFTC about the engine problem. Can't reply there because I don't have my log in info for there on my phone. I'll get back with you on that when I'm back home.
Have a great holiday weekend everyone. We had an amazing party here yesterday. Tons of people, tons of food, a DJ Keryoke, and I had the first keg tapped at 10.15 am, it was empty by about 2:00 and the second one has just enough to get us through tonight. I never knew wisconsonians aka cheeseheads knew how to throw down a party! Hahaha

Decendants of German and Polish immigrants don't know anything about drinking beer! And, I have some bottom land in the Florida Everglades you might be interested in buying.

I had a post over here as well. The PCV elbow at the TB is the most likely suspect for a vacuum leak.

I think you are pretty close with it being a fuel problem. Our other V-10 just came back from the shop. It's been through one fuel pump and three fuel filters. Time to requisition another fuel filter and can of Sea-Foam. In the mean-time, I'm keeping an eye on the fuel gauge to see if there is a pattern.

G'mornin all! I cheated last night and laid in bed to watch the fireworks in Longmont. Yep, from my bed in Frederick, I had a great view. That was after we came in off the roof from checking out about 10 different fireworks shows. Then my neighbors decided to have their own show at 10:30pm. Hmmmmm.... not so good.

Anyway, hope everyone is having a great day!

Safe? Smashed my thumb and managed to kill my Bronco by touching the wiring.

Other than that, all safe and sound.
