Somebody ought to be saving this COE M-H. Looks to be in dry southern Idaho so is probably in great shape. I have no connection to the seller. Here's the listing, and pics of it. Stu

That looks incredibly rare. And this is coming from someone who knows nothing of these MH trucks...

The MH Data tag says chassis weight =5500lbs so you would still need to add the weight of the winch and the box bed on the rear? Probably at least another 1500lbs??

thats an interesting little hump/cover thing on the roof too. he said it was his Uncles truck and he has passed away. I wonder if he has any pictures of the truck from when it was in service.

Josh - the bump on the roof is a window with a mirror so the driver can see up high behind him. These trucks were used for running wire, setting poles, etc. Chuck's got a '51 like it for sale, unless he's sold it by now. Stu

Ah, another one of my passions/hobbies.... If I could ever find a Fender Bass VI (1960's) I'd be a happy cat.

However the video's guitar was not used in the original recording, which was a Danaelectro bass 6.

Now back to your regular programming.

Here's Chuck's yellow '51 with the roof window, and a red '52 owned by one of our members that we haven't heard from in a while. As I remember he was debating whether to cannablize the '52 to use the cab on a dark sider. Maybe why we haven't heard from him in a while. Stu
