Here's what a 66 came with. A bendix box with a 4 bolt cover on top. If you have a 2 bolt, it is a saginaw/ford box. Not original, but will fit with a newer column and modifcations..

Wait! 68's used the Bendix style box. Ford started using the Ford style box in mid '69. If you get one for a 68 it will most likely be wrong. I'd go early 70's to be sure.

Bendix P/S: 1966/68 F100/250 2WD / 1969 F100/250 2WD before serial number D96,001.

1969 F100/250 2WD's & F350's from serial number D96,001 was when Ford P/S was first introduced.

No P/S was available in F350's before D96,001. Both these P/S systems were optional, so not all these trucks will have P/S.

When I ordered it their was an option for bendix or ford/saginaw in 1968 so I went with ford hope it works if not I got it from my local auto store so I can exchange it for a newer year
