Steering Problems

Need some advice. 1990 F150 power steering, turns left easily, right hand turn is like manual steering. Truck has sat for about a year and I just recently put about a thousand miles on it with no problems. Then suddenly this steering problem. Any ideas? Thanks

My guess would be that you have an internal fluid leak in the steering gearbox. However check that none of the tie rods or balljoints is binding.

Steering linkage components look OK, I will switch out gearbox before the weekend and let you know how it turns out. Thanks
