Nice Pictures from a club Safety Inspection

I saw these pictures on Classic Pickups. Ed Oe was kind enough to take them. Some nice looking machines and an even greater thought (safety Inspection).

Those are some very cool trucks. Interesting to see that it is important from time to time to look under our trucks just to make sure all is ok.

Thanks for the pictures, I enjoyed them.

My truck was inspected a year ago

I found the state patrolman that likes classic trucks and cars. He took care of my Cadillac Hearse back in the day, so he passed my F100 with slightly less than comprehensive inspection. The state required one to get my tag. That is the last one the truck will require. I'm sure from time to time I'll take a look at it anyway.

Close call on that gas tank! I couldn't tell what they were doing, did they pull it for a repair?

Thanks all. Our club does this each year. One of our members owns the shop and opens it up to the club to do our thing while he BBQ yellow tail from his fishing trip. It's a blast to watch as a truck goes up and all the guys go under to check out each others stuff. No truck is the same. The gas tank bracket was the most serious which we used a larger washer to get them home and back to the shop who installed it. John Gilbert was there from CCT and hopefully there will be a nice piece int he August issue. Lots more pics were taken and once posted I will share with you all.

Here is mine after the inspection.

I am with Jimmy as the close as I can get to those awesome trucks is mine says Ford on it and I think some may question that. Those trucks show a lot of work, a lot of money and a very good attention to detail. I enjoyed the pictures and look forward to the next set.

Ed,
You all do a real good thing. A safety inspection is really cool. Although you know your truck like no one else you could possibly overlook something. With you guys seem like the intent is to have you here for the next run or show not to pick apart your vehicle which is VERY COOL. THanks for letting me share the pics with us PICTURE loving groupies here on FTE
