Mine is in at the dealer right now getting the oil cooler replaced. My EOL was fine until I did the proper coolant flush and filled it back up with the ford gold can anyone tell me why this happened? I had to go with the Ford Gold because I have an extended warranty and didn't want to disqualify myself for any warranty issues.
I went back and read your other posts and your coolant temps were high to start with ECT 207* EOT 229* and you said the wrench came on also so by doing the flush you may have plugged up the oil cooler more with all the goo from the Gold junk with high temps low mile like yours i would have done 2 Restore flushes it would have taken about 20-24 gallons of distilled water just for this then another 20 for the Restore+ then when you go back with the ELC coolant or in your case the Gold junk before you install the t/stat, fill through t/stat hole till full then install t/stat this keep the chance of an air pocket down. I hope when they do your oil cooler they also install a new egr cooler you never know.
