I realize I am probably bringing this thread back from the dead - i however had to ask - did you completely do away with the stock steering rack and convert to a gear type steering setup ?

Check out the axle cost alone. I believe the OP did a gear type steering box and crossover steering. When he did the swap it was 25k+ today it would probably be a 35k+ swap with all the fabrication and parts
