leveling spring alignment

Here's the deal. I have 2" skyjacker springs for my '95 f150 4x4. I know I won't get a whole 2" lift off from them, I just want to level my truck. I also have the Tuff Country alignment brackets as well. My question is, could my camber be adjusted to specs with just shims or would I need to install the brackets as well? The brackets look like a real pain to install.
I tried searching as I know this has been asked before, but couldn't find what I was looking for. Thanks.

Prolly need to ask an alignment shop. But if you have the parts why not install them. It may be a pain, but you'll learn more about your truck by installing them if nothing else.

Well, if I don't need them, I don't want to install them. They're actually for a 2"-2.5" lift. Might be overkill. Unfortunately, there are not any good 4x4 shops left in this part of pa anymore, so I don't have anyone local to ask.
