Factory Exhaust

I brought this subject up on another thread earlier but wanted clarify it.

I just bought me an 87 F-150 4X4 with a 351 and it needs new tailpipes and it appears this exhaust runs out single pipes on each side behind the tires.
Now my 88 F-250 with a 351 had double-single-double factory exhaust with double pipes together running out the passenger side.
I have have seen most of the 87-91 trucks with the same set up as my 88, so does the fact it has an undercarriage spare tire matter.
I have been getting conflicting information on this and want to stay with the factory look !

That has not been a factor in any of the factory style exhaust catalogs I have seen. Maremont and Walker both make excellent factory style replacement pieces.

My 88 had dual tanks and an in bed spare tire holder, but this one has dual tanks and under carriage holder.
