Any hints on where I can find information about replacing a broken pin in a BAL jack for a ProPride hitch.

Never let your son run the BAL jack.

I would call ProPride directly.

How did he break it?

We have stayed here a few times in the past. I would call the campground itself mediocre, but.... location, location, location !!

Took a nice ride on the Conway Scenic Railroad.

https://www.conwayscenic.com/

Spent an afternoon kayaking down the NH portion of the Saco River.

New Hampshire Canoe, Kayak and Tubing Rentals on the Saco River. Paddleboards and Jetski Rentals too! Great Group Discounts.

Got to use the new Blackstone a few times. No kabob chicken kabobs .
Went on the Conway Scenic back in Winter, and it was amazing, the kids loved it! Getting from the car to the station sucked though, -3 with 15mph winds... Can't wait to go up there in the summer one of these years.

Having a good time at the shore. Seems that every time I go out camping there is always more than one person that asks about my WD Hitch. I think I probably sold a ton of the setups for Anderson over the last few years just by describing and demonstrating the hitch when people ask about it.

Only problem so far is I came down with a abscessed tooth and had to see a dentist this morning. Ah, well. At least a fire and marshmallows tonight.

Yes, you gotta come back in July or August ! Seriously, if you enjoy being outdoors, there is so much to do in that area.

I know! I spent a week in Lincoln for my honeymoon way back in June '13... Granted, we didn't actually do a lot outdoors, but we at least drove up Mt. Washington, and stopped to splash in the creek that runs along the Kancamagus (sp?) highway on the way back. I didn't realize how close Conway was to Mt. Washington until I just looked at a map recently.

Called ProPride they called back and gave me the size of the pin, now I just have to take some time to replace it.

He's strong-like-bull.

I had an Equalizer for several years before this current trailer. Thought it was a good hitch.

I'm even more cheap...… I tow with a $225 Eaz-lift, or something like that.

Though, in my own defense..... I'm currently assembling parts for a Hensley.

The Equal-i-zer brand hitch is a very good hitch. I used it for years on my 7,500# trailer with absolutely no issues. Once I upgraded to my current trailer, the Equal-i-zer was too small for it. I decided to go to Blue Ox, and that was a huge disappointment, which is why I forked out the cash for the ProPride.

So.... Do i need the bigger 22" blackstone or is the 17 1/2 big enough for cooking breakfast for 8-10 people?

If I were to do it over again I'd get the 22 'package' with the stand, cover, etc.

I'd like the 2 burners on the 22"

The first thing I used my 17” Blackstone for was breakfast for 10. It worked but I’d say it was a touch small. Instead of cooking multiple things at once, I’d be cooking only one or two things at a time. First was bacon, then scrambled eggs on one side and hash browns on the other. Finished up with pancakes. A more skilled flattop chef could have probably done it better.

That said, cooking for large groups will probably be rare. My norm will be closer to 2-4, and the 17” is perfect for that.

Trying out the GEO method for cleaning our tanks while the camper sits for a couple of weeks between trips. Will be dumping on Tuesday night at the local campground with fingers crossed the sensors work properly again. If not I may just add new next to the current sensors depending on the setup (compression vs. welded).
