Rear Brake problem

Ah, so it goes under the spring... I had to tap that pin in with a hammer (on wood) and I thought the piece that goes through the top held it on. Ok, Ill change that. Thanks Bra-err... rabbit (happy Easter)

OK, nevermind, and ignore that PBLRC name I said above... the pic in the book is for an F150 which has got different brakes altogether, and I worry that I'd confuse you (or, at least, myself) more than you already are. 
Maybe it was a document that came with some replacement shoes that had the drawing that's in my mind.
In any case, use the real photograph above as help....
