Removing the "Super Cab" lettering?

75 F250 Super Cab

I want to remove the lettering from the windows on both rear sides that say "Super Cab". I had thought it was just adhesive lettering or even paint onm the outside of the glass...but I cannot get it to come off. Tried a razor blade scraper, 2000 grit sand paper, paint stripper - nothing. The glass and the letters look completely untouched.

Is there anyway to remove it?

Why would you want to remove it?
I think it's fine, it gives the truck character, and originality.

I believe the Super Cab script is actually etched into the glass or is between the layers of safety glass.

Because some of us think of it as ugly - instead of original and therefore "cool." I'm in the former group - not the latter. But - because what is stated below is true...it ain't comin off

Put one of your favorite performance stickers over it, or get one made up at your local vinyl decal shop.
Cause I gotta agree its not the best looking, yet its really simple and only we would notice it being there.

Not a bad option for others who may have a small sticker to throw there. I'm not a huge fan of stickering up my trucks and for me the supercab logo is less intrusive than a sticker and goes away a bit more than one does so it'll stay as is.
