New to the area and would like some info

Hey all. We moved to Reno from WA State last summer. I've been a member of FTE for a few years and have some questions. When I lived in Washington, I knew which shops could be trusted and which ones to stay away from in regards to diesel and general auto repair. So far in Reno, I've gotten nothing but screwed in the few dealings I've had with local shops.
My questions:
1) Which is the best/most recommended diesel repair shop in town?
2) Which is the best/most recommended exhaust shop in town?
3) Which is the best/most recommended auto repair shop in town?

I've also noticed a substantial decrease in horsepower from my diesel. I know it's from the increased altitude in Reno. Does anyone know of an "at home" remedy for this or does it need to be taken to a shop for "tuning"?

This is all new to me and like I said, I've gotten screwed a few times already and am tired of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

As far as Exhaust...there's "Muffler's 4 you" in Carson City. Ask for Paul! My mechanic recommended him, but don't know anyone in Reno. Sorry!
