fuel return "TEE" at back of motuer near no.8

Say mates :

getting thru my ATS install - cant speak well for the previous owner Tree Service truck and the fleet service mechanics - I feel I am missing this fuel line return brass tee - will go off to dealer to see if they have - but where does this line feed back to - fuel tank or ? - I have front clip off and dont see where this would feed back to

cheers in advance

With a turbo the rear crossover line now goes across ahead of the intake due to excessive heat. You will need a turbo IDI return line kit with the proper T's, straights and dead end cap. The fuel line back to the fuel tank(s) goes down the drivers side of the trans so a straight piece of joiner or pipe should suffice.

you dont have to run the turbo kit, you can just get a longer line and do one of two things. either run it lower against the valley pan (you can also slip a heat wrap sleeve over it) or you can run a line from the #7 infront of the intake hat and back around to the T.

this is how the oem turbo setup is run. but this system leaves a dead head and you wanna try to avoid that. also you would have to cap off one of the barbs in the brass T

Say Mates :

gotcha - and already agree the NA is better - no dead head injectors - yet on each diagram oreocreaming shared - there is a drain /retun at the rear of moteur

where does this line return to ? -

as I mentioned the fleet service who did the maintenance on the rig did wonky work - the return lines I pulled were very different from each of these diagrams - so if there is a brass tee at the rear of moteur - I must get one - and no the dealer was of no help - he printed 5 pages of PSD schematics telling me they are all the same 93 on - came as a surprise to him when he found on from a pre PSD idi Turbo

Cheers:

the return line comes off the T, runs along the frame and goes into the front of the FSV (fuel selector valve) that switches between the front and rear thanks.

Say oreocreaming :

Ok - makes sense - I did check my FSM for a NA 7.3 - it shows a steel return line with tee at rear of moteur - running back to front of moteur on right bank and returning to front of IP - and if I remember correctly - my motuer was just a loop with no 2 injector return line feeding back to IP

do this make sense?

cheers:
