Blinker and Door chime

My blinkers do not work, and my door chime does not work either.

They worked last week!
All fuses GOOD
Flashers work too
I noticed last night, if I pull the blinker switch down real slow and find a sweet spot - the blinker would come ON, but NOT BLINK and the dash arrow would come on as well. I am unable to repeat this since that one time however.

thoughts?

Check the bulbs themselves....As if one is blown, it can cause the arrow to simply ight up and not blink....Be sure to check the blinker fluid...It may be low...

Also, what is this on? What year?

Hmmmm....Sounds a lot like my issue...No dim lights...The dimmer switch has given out....

Could very well be just that, and they both use the same stalk....

my dimmer is dead too...all bright or all on interior too.

This is pretty common since ford runs the power THROUGH the switch, bad idea, instead of relays. Relays kits will make the lights twice as bright from what I hear.

I guess I will try the blinks with the light switch ALL ON - but pretty sure the blinkers/flashers don;t go through the light switch, could be wrong.

The dimmer/turn signal stalk has a circuit breaker in it...After so many times of it clicking on/off, and the heat from the electricity they wear out.....

As far as the relays, I haven't did it,but I'm going to....And from what i've been told on here, it basically just extends the life of the wiring....And they all said that it WILL make the lights MARGINALLY brighter...

for whats it worth, WITH MY BRAKES APPLIED, I can repeat the blinker comming on when I gently push the stalk...and I can flash it myself either by doing this, or repeatedly pushing the brake....ODD!

Where is this breaker?
Is the breaker for the flashers the same as the blinker...I always thought so...could be wrong. Again the flashers work fine.

Check the wire 296A-White w/ a Purple stripe...Its right below/near the hazard flasher....

And the circuit breaker is in the headlight On/Off switch, the one near the fuel tank selector......They are self resetting...

I fixed the blinkers....I reached around behind the fuse panel and there was a "blinker can" on the backside...wtf...replaced it with the blinker can from the flashers on the front side...bam....all better. Put the dead blinker can in the flashers spot...still dead.

how the F was I suppose to know there was a blinker can on the back side? Maybe I am just dumb.

Told ya that you were low on blinker fluid...

The headlight switch, the one I was referring to, is the one you pull out to turn the headlights on and turn the dome light on....

I'd wager the white/purple wire is connected to that "Blinker can".....Glad ya gottem fixed....
