How to stop cavitation 5.4L NON PI in 1999 F250

Well original engine was scrap due cavitation in alum head so there hole with JB welder patch on head. It have 246K miles on it.

My concerned how can I stop cavitation when I put new used 5.4L with only 80K miles. It NON PI head.

What cause cavitation in first place? Electric issues? PO claim it cause by bad alternator and killed transmission. Replaced new alternator and transmission last year.

I thought it is caused by not changing the coolant frequently. I could be wrong...

Could be but when I look I would say they did change because there no evidence brown spot on plastic tank like I see on my old 01 F250 that was full of brown sludge.

Was the root cause cavitation, galvanic reaction, or corrosion?
3 totally different mechanisms, all can erode aluminum. All need different approach to prevent.

There only one I found was white powder on hole.

By way they use stop leaker which is copper inside.
