Can I get an underhood pic?

I pulled all my fenders, hood, doors etc. I got the fenders and doors back on, and the hood brackets. I am trying to figure out how to mount my spring latches for my hood. On one end they have a plate with two screw holes and the other end has a single bolt, but for the life of my I can't recall which way they go and whether or not I need to find an associated bracket.

They should mount with the two bolts into the hood and the single into the fender walls.

Is it towards the top of the fender or where exactly? I just looked around and couldn't find a spot that looked correct. I got the hinges on there that have no tension, but the spring hines are the ones giving me the issue. I guess it should just be simple enough, just not sure if I need to locate a bracket to attachinto the fender.

It should be somewhere around 8-9 inches forward of the firewall.
