Ive heard of people boiling vinegar before to clean, but never have tried myself. Would be cool if it worked though!

I actually use seafoam with excellent results.

For really rusty stuff I have gotten into using 50/50 mix of acetone and atf, works great.

I've always found Carb cleaner to work awesome...

vinegar is for fat french fries...

Being a weak acid it should work, it just depends how F'ed your carb is on what you should use. In extreme cases sorry nothing less then a drill bit and a careful hand.
